Bear is 14 years old now and living in Seattle, Washington!
You see, she is VERY afraid of storms and often hurt herself trying to feel safe.
Bear's new mom spotted her on line. It rains a lot in Seattle but thunder is seldom heard.
Bear made the trip from Kentucky to Seattle in September of 2001. (She was 10 years old at the time.) Her new Mom, Gina, is taking wonderful care of Bear as she lives out her "Golden Years".
Bear passed peacefully on October 31st, 2006. Thank you, Gina, for giving Bear the best years of her life. Because of your compassion Bear truly enjoyed her "Golden Years".
Rest peacefully sweet,sweet, Bear.
