Dogs for Adoption

Sam

I am Sam. Sam I am. I love people and other dogs. I really love to chase cats though. I like to have a big fenced yard to run and long walks and to have a covered place to sleep. I dont' like dog houses. I love hugs and belly rubs. By the way, don't you think I am handsome?

Levi

Hi! I'm Levi! I'm a Lab/Australian Shepherd mix. I am just about a year old and full of energy! I love to hug people and play with my dog and cat friends at Sadie's. I dont like to be left in a pen though, so I jump or dig out so I can play with my friends. I have awesome brown and blue eyes. You will fall in love with me. (Everybody does.) Please, can I come live with you?

Betsy

Betsy is a very sweet and energetic beagle mix. She is less than a year old and loves to play with other dogs. She does chase cats but only to play with them. She can jump into your arms for cuddle time. Can Betsy come love you!!

Bruno

Bruno is an 80 pound Akita/St. Bernard mix. He is a big Teddy Bear! In fact, he loves to give Bear Hugs! He loves to play with people, other dogs, and kids! He can easily scale a 4 foot chain link fence to find someone to play with. If you have a big yard, a tall fence, and want lots of love, let us know. Bruno is waiting for you!

Gator

My name is Gator. Now, all you U.K Wildcat fans, please do not hold that against me. I'll be as true blue as you want me to be. I am just very relieved that Sadie's saved me from euthanasia in a local shelter!

I was in there for 4 months!! I am an Australian shepherd mix, born around December of 2005. I sure seem to turn heads with my beautiful markings! I am still a baby so I will need a little help learning about living with people. I am very curious about cats and for some reason I just want to jump on them. I can work on that too. I am super sweet, playful, and eager to meet my new family. Will it be you? ADOPTED

Bart

Bart is a Wheaton Terrier mix. He is less than two years old and weighs 20 lbs. Bart loves to play! He will play with kids, other dogs and even cats. He is very smart and loves attention! He can even scale a 6 foot chain link fence to find someone to play with! Bart will make a wonderful family member for some lucky family. Can he join yours? ADOPTED

POGO is very camera shy but we managed to get these shots to show him off. He is a Rottweiler mix, born in 2000. Pogo is very good-natured. He is good with other dogs, kids and cats. He gets his name from his vertical jumping antics. He collects balls (Tennis balls are his favorite.) and loves to play fetch.

Daphne is a beautiful beagle mix. She is around one year old and weighs around 15 lbs.. She is great with people, other dogs and cats. Although we have not seen her with children, she would probably be fine with kids as well! ADOPTED

Heeeeere's….Gravy! She is a beagle mix, around 35 lbs. She was probably born in 2003. She likes to think she is the boss of other dogs but they don't seem to notice. She is people loving. Can she love you??

This is Crickett (AKA Houdini). She is a super sweet, house-trained lab mix, weighing around 35 lbs. Crickett was born in 2000. She craves human attention, but also likes to explore. She can escape from any pen to get to people or cats. She would do great as an inside lap dog, with no cats. She loves taking walks! She is a loyal, loving dog. If you think she would fit into your lifestyle, please let us know. Crickett is waiting for you!

Peg is a senior girl but doesn't know it! She has always been very mellow. She is very people oriented and lives to have her soft belly rubbed. Can you see that in her eyes? Will you rub her belly for her?

Biscuit was born in 2003. He is a beagle mix and is aprox. 20 lbs.

He has lots of energy and needs room to run!

Runt is Biscuits son. He weighs around 27 lbs.

He loves attention and bounces around on his pointed little toes and wags his very curly tail. ADOPTED

Noah was born in the summer of 2003. His litter mates were killed by a mean man. Sadie's rescued Noah and his mother Nikki. (See Nikki's story in our newsletter in “About Us”.) Nikki is a Jack Russell. Noah probably has some shepherd in him. He is very smart, and energetic and he loves belly rubs! He is a graduate of our dog training class!

Noah loves his pool!

Toby was born in 2000. His litter mates have all found their "Forever Homes". He is a sweet, gentle boy. Probably a Border Collie mix. He would love his very own person to play fetch with!

Pepper was born in 12/01. He is a cocker - retriever mix, very shy with men, but does great with women. A gentle dog and gets along great with other dogs. Is very curious about cats, and not aggressive towards them at all. Will need a fenced in back yard, because he loves to be outdoors.

Spice is Peppers brother. Born 12/01. He is a wonderful little guy looking for a loving home. His mom was a Cocker Spaniel, and his dad...well who knows! There appears to be some type of hound or beagle in him. Spice is a little timid and afraid around some men, we don't know which men or why he is afraid. He would benefit from obedience training to help boost his confidence. He would make a wonderful pet, he just needs time and patience to adjust to his surroundings and new people.

Duke and Daisy want to be adopted together.

Duke is a very happy boy who desires a family of his very own. He was rescued with his sister Daisy when they were little babies and has been in rescue all of his life. Duke is a big boy and loves to run and play. His DOB is 7/2001.

Daisy is Duke's sister. She is a greyhound mix. A little shy but a sweetheart when she learns to trust you. She and Duke would love to be adopted together with a large fenced yard to run and play together!

Storm is our Wild Child!! He is a wonderful little Amstaff mix who loves to run and play. Born in 2000, he was near starvation when rescued and has recovered very nicely. He is playful to the extent that he really aggravates other dogs. A larger playful dog may be a good playmate for him. He seems to be calm enough around children, but cats have not been tested. He has not been housetrained yet. If adopted for an outside dog, he needs a large fenced yard. Please consider giving Storm a loving "forever" home.

Storm sure can make a splash in his pool!!

Bosco was born in April of 2001. He was adopted to a family with his sister. His family got a divorce and he was returned to Sadie's. Bosco is a wonderful boy! He minds very well, loves cats, kids and non-dominant dogs. He is house trained and would make a wonderful family companion. He ADORES his belly rubs and is very people oriented! He will follow you around the house or yard. If you stop, he will be flop down on his back, begging for a belly rub! His belly is so soft you have to feel it to believe it!! He weighs around 45 lbs.
